Survey seminar set for November

IIMS, a worldwide professional body for marine surveyors, will host its inaugural International Marine Surveying Fest in November, a 24-hour marine surveying seminar held entirely online.

The 24-hour online event will begin at 11 a.m. (UK time) on Nov. 6 with a discussion by IIMS CEO Mike Schwarz and Capt John Lloyd, Nautical Institute CEO. The program will continue non-stop until 11 a.m. (UK time) on Nov. 7. Each hour on the hour, a new presentation will be delivered live by a presenter somewhere in the world on a relevant surveying-related topic.

Fee to participate is £100 where participants can take advantage of as many of the 24 presentations over the 24 hours as they wish. The fee also provides access to all presentations online afterward using the Zoom platform.

The event is supported by Constellation Marine Services and the Nautical Institute. For more information, visit iims.org.uk.
