The International Superyacht Society has announced a partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association to raise industry standards and promote yacht ownership. Through the partnership, active IYBA members will also be members of the ISS.

“The society recognizes IYBA’s standing and sees the partnership as an important opportunity to raise industry standards while also letting potential owners and charterers know of the amazing life experience ownership and chartering offers,” Capt. AJ Anderson, CEO of Wright Maritime Group and ISS president, stated in a press release.

IYBA was founded in 1987 to unite yacht brokerage professionals. The association has more than 1,500 members representing over 500 businesses, and each member is required to abide by a code of ethics designed to protect the public against  fraud, misrepresentation and other unethical practices.
