MarineMax has named Adam Cooper as general manager of its Massachusetts stores, including MarineMax Russo Danvers, MarineMax Boston and MarineMax Russo Hingham.

Cooper began his marine career in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1991 and later held management positions in the marine industry, including a five-year stint as director of service and parts at Russo Marine. Most recently, he was general manager of Manchester Marine, a marina and service yard on Boston’s North Shore, according to a MarineMax press release.

“Adam’s passion for the boat business, his dedication to creating strong teams, and his drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligns perfectly with our MarineMax values and mission,” stated Larry Russo Jr., MarineMax regional president.

Based in Clearwater, Florida, MarineMax sells new and used recreational boats and related marine products and services at 63 retail sites across the U.S.
