Skip Morris rejoins Merle Wood & Associates

Skip Morris has rejoined Merle Wood & Associates as a yacht broker based in Fort Lauderdale, the company recently announced. Morris previously worked at the brokerage from 2000 to 2008 and has more than 40 years of experience in the yachting industry.

Morris grew up boating on Long Island Sound and became a yacht captain after college. He began representing and building for different manufacturers and managed yachts for private owners before going on to selling yachts, according to a company press release. He is a longstanding member of the International Yacht Brokers Association and active in the South Florida boating community.

At Merle Wood & Associates, he will specialize in the sale, purchase, charter and construction of luxury yachts.
