Heesen launched YN 18750 on April 5 at its shipyard in Oss. Formerly known as Project Aster, the yacht’s owner has named it Masa.

At 164 feet (50m) and less than 500GT, the yacht has an aluminum semi-displacement hull, two MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines, and a top speed of 23 knots, according to Heesen.

Frank Laupman of Omega Architects designed the exterior, and Cristiano Gatto designed the interior.Masa will remain in the shipyard’s harbor basin for final construction and the commissioning of its systems. The yacht will then cruise to Hellevoetsluis for sea trials before final handover to the owner in June.
