Crews, yachts help Waterway Soiree raise money for kids

The captains and crews from more than a dozen yachts at Bahia Mar Yachting Center turned on the charm and opened their yachts to guests Saturday night to raise $262,000 for the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Chefs from some of the city’s top restaurants prepared intimate dinners onboard, but the yachts’ chefs still kept an eye on their galleys. Stews, as usual, pulled out all the stops to wow dinner guests with stunning tables and service. Photos by Lucy Chabot Reed
