Local firefighters are fighting a blaze on a yacht that is dry-docked at Cracker Boy Boat Works in Riviera Beach, Florida.
“No one is hurt and the firefighters are working hard,” said Rachel Bene, customer service representative at the do-it-yourself yard, by phone Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m.
The make and name of the yacht that is between 80 and 100 feet has not been confirmed and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
Video from WPTV shows smoke spreading east through the sky.
“Fires are nothing to joke about,” Bene said.
