Fire destroys new yacht at Italian marina

A new 120-foot (36.6m) motoryacht went up in flames early June 16 in Marina di Carrara, Italy, according to local news reports. 

There were no injuries, as the captain was reportedly alone on the boat at the time of the fire and was able to safely disembark.

The yacht, launched four weeks prior, was about to be delivered to its Asian owner, according to news reports. It was the second hull in the series for the Italian builder. The yacht sustained irreparable damage in the fire, according to reports.
