BSE Cairns Slipways launched what they describe as the Pacific area’s largest mobile boat hoist with a celebration and fireworks on Aug. 9 in Queensland, Australia. The Italian-built Cimolai MBH 1120 is capable of moving 1,120 tons and is about seven stories high.

BSE Cairns also has a 1,200-ton rail slipway for vessels 80m long and 22m wide with more than 360 meters of serviced wharf space.
