Sunreef to build carbon sailing catSep 1, 2019 by Triton Staff
Sunreef Yachts has been commissioned to build an all-carbon Sunreef 80 sailing catamaran for an experienced yachtsman who previously chartered a Sunreef 74.
His yacht’s custom layout will accommodate 11 guests and crew. Wind-free propulsion will come from two 280HP engines, and weight-reducing features will include a carbon mast and boom.
The Sunreef 80 premiered in 2018 and has been one of the shipyard’s best-selling catamarans, according to a company press release.
