Adrift Film Festival is a new film festival for Onboard Content Creators. Founded by Luxury Yacht Films Founder Shelton Dupreez and Nautic Nomad Co-Founder Randi Barry. All yacht industry professionals are invited to attend and enjoy a casual, relaxing evening away from the crowds of FLIBS.

Doors open at 6:30pm with entry by donation; all proceeds benefiting ocean awareness.

Screenings begin at 7:30pm with voting shortly thereafter. The awards ceremony will be held at 9:30pm with prizes being awarded in four categories: Best Short Film (0-3 minutes), Best Long Film (3-10 minutes), Most Creative, and Wildcard (shot from cell phone – no time limits or editing necessary).

Special thanks go to Denison Yachting for helping make this event possible. Prizes include a year-long Masterclass all-access pass with more sponsorships and prizes being announced daily. Updates about the event and prizes will be posted on the Adrift Film Festival Instagram page.

Submissions are open to all content creators who are working onboard, employed or in between jobs. Entries close Oct. 16. Videos can be about anything that conjures travel, adventure, a message, or simply good times. Attendance is not required in order to enter a video or win a prize.

There is no dress code but casual attire is encouraged. There will be a cash bar available with alcoholic beverages for sale.

For more, visit the Adrift Film Festival website.
