The International Maritime Film Festival is a juried contest of films celebrating the heritage, spirit of adventure, and ingenuity of boats and waterborne pursuits.

The IMFF is a joint venture between Main Street Bucksport and WoodenBoat Publications in Brooklin, Maine, The Island Institute in Rockland, Maine, and World Ocean Observatory in Sedgwick, Maine.

Bucksport’s state-of-the-art Alamo Theatre will host a gala awards event. In the months after the awards event, a compilation of winners will be offered to venues worldwide.
