Please join IYRS for the 10th Annual Marine & Composites Industry Career Day hosted at IYRS in Newport, RI on March 7, 2015. This one-day event, which is hosted by IYRS and RIMTA, is free to the public and will draw marine and composites industry experts and employers from all over the U.S. In 2014 we had companies from as far north as Maine and far south as Florida; we expect to see a record number of exhibitors and attendees in 2015.

Career seekers will have an opportunity to meet with boatbuilders, boat yards, and composite manufacturers; learn about the skills needed to work in the marine and composites industries; gather information on how to gain in-demand skills; learn about career prospects; and attend informative seminars.

Neal Harrell understands the job-search process from both the employer and employee viewpoint. Today’s job search is a process that requires individuals to have a well-written resume, networking and interviewing skills, and educated use of social media to help you identify your market and promote yourself effectively to decision-makers. Mr. Harrell will also talk about trends in the marketplace and the hottest sectors for hiring. This is a valuable, information-packed session for individuals building careers in the marine and composites industries.
Attendees will be welcomed to enter Career Day 30 minutes prior to the general public.
