Nova Southeastern University and its Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography (HCNSO) presents the 2019 NSU Scholarship Fishing Tournament.

The fun begins with:

  • Captain’s Meeting and Reception Party on Thursday, ,Jan. 10, 6 p.m. at NSU’s Ocean Campus
  • Lines in on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 7 a.m.
  • Weigh-in on Saturday at 3 p.m.
  • Awards Party / Reception on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Pier 66.

The tournament’s mission is to be recognized as the premier, not-for-profit fishing tournament in the Southeast for the benefit of education and research. Accordingly, conservation is a mandate with release of billfish and responsible take of fun fish.

Net proceeds from tournament donations create the endowed NSU Fishing Tournament Scholarship Fund. These scholarships attract, retain, encourage, and support high achieving and productive marine students at NSU HCNSO who are engaged in outstanding research.
