As part of its “La Belle Classe Academy” training centre, the Yacht Club de Monaco is partnering with Bluewater to organize this second annual culinary competition, under the presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

The contest brings together 12 chefs on yachts over 40m and is made up of four 30-minute rounds during which three chefs will each prepare an original dish based on a basket of mystery ingredients. Three finalists will compete in a grand finale where they will make a dish from a mystery basket in 45 minutes.

Award-winning chefs will taste, score and select the winner.

This year, the contest will also include a Mixology Competition, led by YCM bartender Giorgio Rocchino, best Italian Bartender and 3rd in Europe. Nine candidates will prepare a cocktail with prescribed ingredients in 10 minutes. A
“Destination Barman” training course is available at the YCM.
