Organized by the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association (VIPCA), the USVI Charter Yacht Show features sail and power catamarans, monohulls and luxury motor yachts. It also allows crews, managers and local vendors to kick off their Caribbean season and promote themselves and their services.

Over 60 yachts are expected to attend, including catamarans 80-feet and longer and motor yachts in the 100- to 150-foot range, and over 100 charter brokers from the Caribbean, U.S. and Europe also are expected to attend.

The schedule features four days of yacht viewing, a crew cocktail party, awards dinner, sunset cruise, marine expo, and ‘State of the Industry’ address, which highlights many of the off-the-beaten-track anchorages.

There will be a ‘Chef and Bartender Expo’ hosted by Celebrity Chef-Boxer Julius Jackson. The culinary competition will be judged over two days to include more competitors. This year not only is the bar being raised for mixologists, but for chef, yacht and crew competitions with a formal panel of judges to assess the ‘Best of the Best’ for the 2019/2020 season.

Crewed yachts that register by July 1 can receive 20 percent off with an Early Bird Show Registration Discount.

Show berthing rate of $1.50 per foot per day commences Nov. 3 and extends through Nov. 22. There’s an additional 10 percent early-bird discount for dockage paid in full before Oct. 15. The ‘on arrival’ fuel rate comes with a 15 percent discount. And yachts can enjoy a 5 percent dockage discount at IGY Marinas in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia, and Isle de Sol, St. Maarten, from Nov. 1-Dec. 15.
