The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale hosted the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show’s annual Best of Show award on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Terrace Gardens.

The awards recognize innovative debut models, with an independent panel of judges evaluating vessel performance, design, technology, and architecture.

The show awards Best of Show in two categories: above and below 60 feet. In the over 60 feet category, the Azimut Grande 30M won.

“We are particularly proud to receive this award here in Fort Lauderdale, a market that has always played a special role in Azimut’s history. In 1982, we introduced in Miami the first yacht over 30 metres built in fibreglass, marking a turning point for the industry. Forty-four years later, we return with the Grande 30M, continuing that pioneering spirit. This recognition is a testament to the work and dedication of all Azimut people who make this journey possible every day,” commented Federico Ferrante, president of Azimut Benetti Americas.

This year’s winner in the under 60 feet category was the Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht, marking the second year in a row that Valhalla has won, after winning in 2025 as well. This year’s Best in Show finalists also included the Solace 41, Princess 48, Beneteau 50, Fleming 60, and Pearl 100.

In a brochure for the boat, Viking President and CEO Pat Healey said, “The 46 Sport Yacht continues our goal of giving owners more choices and more ways to enjoy time on the water. From 28 to 90 feet, we now offer a Viking or Valhalla for every kind of boating lifestyle — from tournament fishing to family cruising.”

The evening also featured music, bites from the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale’s Michelin-recommended restaurants Evelyn’s and MAASS, and cocktails by ViceVersa’s Valentino Lon
