CrewScore.com, a platform created by the creator of Honest Yachtie, enables superyacht crew to evaluate their previous work experiences on vessels throughout the superyacht industry.
These evaluations are based on key factors such as onboard leadership, morale, safety standards, and career progression. Once crew employment verification is complete, these ratings are compiled into dynamic yacht profiles that provide crew with transparent, real-world insights. CrewScore maintains that the platform ensures anonymity and creates a safe platform for sharing experiences, guaranteeing “absolute integrity through robust verification processes.”
“Honest Yachtie has brought the crew community together through shared experiences and humor,” said the creator, a former crewmember who keeps their identity hidden. “Now, CrewScore takes that connection to the next level, giving crew a platform to create real, impactful change in their careers and the industry as a whole. I feel immense pride in being able to create a platform that crew can truly benefit from.”
At its heart, CrewScore is a movement to elevate yacht crew voices. The press release states, “By offering an anonymous, data-driven platform, CrewScore fosters transparency, improves working conditions, and helps yachties take control of their careers.”
CrewScore uses dynamic scoring to assess various factors, generating ratings that contribute to a yacht’s overall CrewScore, which is ranked on a 100-point scale. Metrics such as leave allowances and crew longevity are compared against industry standards and similar vessels, providing insights into what crew can expect on board. The site is powered by advanced AI, and CrewScore maintains that the platform safeguards anonymity, identifies trends, and ensures fair, consistent ratings.
Since launching just a few weeks ago, CrewScore has attracted more than 500 users from more than 50 countries, with 120-plus yacht ratings.
