The Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix delivered fast-paced racing over the weekend, with Australia’s Bonds Flying Roos emerging victorious for their second consecutive SailGP win and third event title of the 2026 season.
The team claimed wins in races two, four, and six before securing the final. Spain’s Los Gallos took victories in races three and five, while Germany by Deutsche Bank won race seven on day two.
Bonds Flying Roos ultimately defeated Los Gallos and Germany by Deutsche Bank in the final race.
“The team was unbelievably well together — we were gelling, and it’s amazing to get a result like that,” Bonds Flying Roos driver Tom Slingsby said. “Next up is New York, and I’m excited to get back on the start line. We have a really good dynamic going, we’re working well together as a team, and I’m looking forward to seeing where that takes us.”
Los Gallos finished second overall, followed by Germany by Deutsche Bank in third. In the current 2026 championship standings, Bonds Flying Roos leads with 45 points, followed by Emirates GBR with 35 and Los Gallos with 34.
Next up on the calendar is the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix on May 30–31, 2026.
