A fire at Hilton Head Island marina destroyed seven boats Wednesday morning according to multiple reports. Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue’s 911 center received a report of a fire at Palmetto Bay Marina at 4:09 a.m. according to The Island Packet. Fire rescue crews brought the fire under control at around 4:52 a.m., but seven boats were destroyed and three other boats sustained minor damage.
