The sinking boat caused some damage to the city’s dock, according to City Commissioner Warren Sturman. The city is aware of the vessel and have crews responding appropriately. No injuries have been reported as of this time.

Floating water containment booms were placed around the sinking vessel to reduce any environmental impacts from the partially submerged vessel. The cause of the sinking is currently unknown but being investigated.
