Apreamare Opens New Refit Division in Italy

Apreamare has launched a new refit division in response to growing demand from yacht owners seeking shipyard-managed refit and maintenance services.

Apreamare Refit will focus exclusively on Apreamare vessels and will operate from a 3,000-square-meter warehouse in Torre Annunziata, Italy. The dedicated space can service up to five boats simultaneously for a complete range of “restoration and modernization operations.”

With the motto, “Take your [vessel] to the person who built it to restore it to its original splendor,” this new refit service underscores the continuity of tradition and quality the shipyard is known for.

The full-service offering includes teak deck replacement and painting, internal and external upholstery, and upgrades to navigational and onboard systems. Apreamare Refit is designed to preserve and enhance the value of each vessel while ensuring greater comfort, efficiency, and safety.

“It is a source of pride for me to announce this new refit division, which was born from a market request, and which testifies to the prestige of our boats sailing the world’s seas,” said Cataldo Aprea, Apreamare president. “A special thanks to all the Apreamare workers who work every day with commitment and care so that we can continue to offer a product of the highest quality.”

The new division became fully operational on Sept. 1, 2024.
