The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration awarded $35.18 million to 45 shipyards in 24 states and 1 U.S. territory through the Small Shipyard Grant Program. The department announced the awardees for 2026 with the value of the award and a description of each awarded project. The funds will help awardees modernize, increase productivity, and expand local employment opportunities.
