The Marine Industries Association of South Florida’s (MIASF) Fill That Boat Back-to-School Provisioning campaign reached 100% capacity. MIASF’s provisioning campaign helps support Broward County’s Marine Magnet & CTE Programs and the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Haimes Coleman Group, Centennial Bank, VB Hose Clamps, Nancy Olson Water Fitness, Environmental Marine, Port Everglades Association, Maritime Professional Training (MPT), Reef Aquaria Design (RAD), Jellyfish Art, Marine Research Hub, and Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi helped fill the boat full of supplies. MIASF is delivering the supplies to the participating programs this week in advance of the school year ahead.

While the boat is filled, MIASF’s Back-to-School Provisioning Wishlist will remain open. Additional donations will continue to support their participating schools, helping provide more teacher-requested supplies and specialty marine items.

“Because of your help, students will have the tools, equipment, and opportunities to explore careers on and off the water,” MIASF wrote.
