The Rolex SailGP Championship heads to New York this weekend for the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix, taking place May 30–31. The event marks the sixth stop of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship and is expected to draw thousands of spectators along the Hudson River waterfront. Twelve of the league’s 13 teams will compete, with the Black Foils still while repairs continue. The BONDS Flying Roos are defending their first-place standing after back-to-back victories in Rio and Bermuda, holding the top spot with 45 points, followed by Emirates Great Britain in second with 35 points, and trailed closely by Los Gallos in third with 34 points. The U.S. SailGP team is in fourth place with 31 points. SailGP racing uses identical F50 foiling catamarans to ensure a level playing field. Teams compete in multiple fleet races in each event, earning points toward the overall standings. The top three teams advance to a Final race at every event. Racing starts at 3:30 p.m. local time on May 30 and 31. SailGP.com/NewYork
