Seabike can help boost your swimming speed in the water with one of its three products. Need a little help in the water? French company Seabike may have the solution in its swimming product that allows you to use your leg power to move more quickly through the water. Their tagline — learn to swim in a new way — means it can be a fun and functional product. As its name suggests, you can ride it like a bike or a unicycle in the water. Take it into the water with you — it’s buoyant — and climb aboard for a quick ride. Adjust the pole to the desired length, belt it on, find the pedals, and start moving. The pedal-powered swim aid is a crank-driven propulsion system that powers a propeller about 15 inches in size. Once you’re moving, you can quickly and easily glide through the water. Do laps with a bit of extra help, get some added speed on your next snorkeling excursion, or enjoy the ocean scenery as you glide past. You can also use it for diving, flip it around, attach handles, and use your arms to pedal instead. It’s great for cardio or to add speed to your next swim. The propeller moves comparatively slowly, so there’s no risk to others nearby. It’s easy to use and maintain —spray it down after use in seawater. The system is lightweight, requires no charging, and can be stored compactly. The company makes three models, the Seabike 2.0, the Seabike Pro, and the Seabike Premium, with prices ranging from €290 to €590. For more water toys, check out Triton’s Tenders and Toys issue.
