The Florida Ocean Alliance is hosting a leadership meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14, to discuss the ocean economy, technology, and the environment. The Florida Ocean Alliance is hosting a leadership meeting and luncheon where their Board of Directors, and experts on Florida’s ocean and coastal resources, coastal infrastructure, and the ocean economy will be speaking. The meeting is from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Coral Ridge Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale, located at 2800 Yacht Club Blvd. Register to attend the event here! Key segments of the meeting include details on marine industries and their work on corals, seagrass, aquaculture, and resilience. A luncheon, networking with the meeting’s speakers, and a silent auction will follow the program on the ocean economy, technology, and environment. The Florida Ocean Alliance is a nonpartisan organization that is dedicated to bringing together the private sector, academia, and nonprofit research organizations in Florida to protect the state’s coastal and ocean resources. Outreach and educational activities for the public and policymakers are a major focus for the Alliance, with conferences, papers on ocean and coastal policies, and more created by the Alliance.
