The 2025 Miami Innovation Awards deadline is quickly approaching, recognizing manufacturers and suppliers who bring new and innovative products for the boating industry to market. The deadline for the 2025 Miami Innovation Awards is Jan. 7 and Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show exhibitors are invited to enter their new and innovative products for consideration. The judging of the awards will be conducted by persons selected by Boating Writers International and are awarded by the judges’ subjective determination of the entries that best satisfy the criteria below. Have innovative distinction from other products currently manufactured in the marine industry Have substantial modification or adaptation to the marine market if the product is an extension from a non-marine or general market Categories specific to boat entries demonstrate excellence through refinement to products currently on the market Provide benefit to the marine industry and/or consumer Provide practicality of use Product categories include alternative propulsion, boat care and maintenance, cabin cruisers, motor yachts, trawlers, center console/walkaround fishing boats, consumer electronics, inflatables and tenders, and many more, with the full list being available here. Awards will be presented during the Miami Industry Breakfast taking place on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at 8 a.m. in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
