The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) responded to a motor yacht that caught on fire off the Romblon coast before 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. M/Y Jason was the yacht that caught on fire in the waters between Barangay Mabini and Barangay Mabulo. Nearby fisherman rescued the four crewmembers from the burning yacht and no injuries were reported. The crew was transferred to the PCG. The captain told PCG that the fire allegedly originated from the engine room. Image by PCG.
