The 23rd Rolex Swamp Cup is returning to Porto Cervo from Sept. 14–19 with a record participation of 160 yachts already confirmed and additional entries still arriving. Since its inaugural edition in 1980, the Cup is one of the biggest events on the international sailing calendar. The cup is organized in collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and is celebrating 60 years of Nautor Swan.

“For 60 years, Swan has built exceptional yachts that have sailed the world — from the frozen poles to the sun-drenched Galápagos,” said Gianguido Girotti, CEO of Nautor Swan. “The next chapter is not only about creating new yachts, but also about building an even stronger community around them.”

The fleet will be led by Tarantella, Swan 36-001, the very first Swan ever built. The week begins with the opening ceremony before an owner’s dinner on Thursday evening that celebrates the 60th anniversary. The Rolex Crew Party follows on Friday, while Saturday’s final prize giving will bring another edition of the cup to a close.

“That is what ClubSwan truly represents. No other shipyard creates so many opportunities for owners to come together, sail, learn and share experiences throughout the year,” Girotti said. “Our regattas are far more than competitions — they are occasions to build lasting friendships, exchange knowledge and celebrate the pure joy of sailing.”
