The Wharf coming to Lauderdale’s Riverfront

The Wharf, a pop-up, multi-use event space on the Miami River, has announced plans to open a new waterfront location along Fort Lauderdale’s New River later this year.

The Wharf Fort Lauderdale will be located on a 1.25-acre piece of property at 20 W. Las Olas Blvd., site of the former Riverfront development. It will offer an open-air gathering space on the waterfront to enjoy a variety of cultural and culinary events, along with bar and food options from some of the most popular food trucks and chefs in the area.

“We are confident that this new development will help to further solidify Fort Lauderdale’s place as South Florida’s next big dining, entertainment and arts destination,” stated Dev Motwani, CEO of Merrimac Ventures.
